Emergency Dentist in Las Vegas — We See You the Same Day
Tooth emergencies don’t wait, and neither do we. Call (702) 372-4039 and we’ll get you in the same day.
Is This a Dental Emergency?
If you’re in pain and it feels urgent, call us for guidance. Here’s what we treat same day:
Knocked-out tooth
Time matters. Keep the tooth moist, such as by placing it in milk, and call us immediately.
Cracked or broken tooth
Rinse with warm water, apply a cold compress on the outside, and call us.
Severe toothache
Sudden intense pain, especially with swelling or fever, can be a sign that something is wrong.
Dental abscess
A pulsing ache with swelling and a bad taste may indicate an abscess. This requires professional evaluation and treatment.
Lost filling or crown
This can leave the tooth exposed and sensitive. Don’t put off having it evaluated.
Bleeding that won’t stop
After an extraction or mouth injury, call us.
Soft tissue injury
Deep cuts to the tongue, lips, or cheeks that need proper evaluation.
Not sure if yours qualifies? Call anyway. We’ll tell you straight.
What Happens When You Come In
We keep same-day slots open specifically for situations like yours. Here’s how it goes:
- You call — We triage over the phone, get a sense of what’s going on, and set your time.
- You arrive — 9895 S Maryland Pkwy, Ste A. Parking right out front.
- We take a look — Digital X-rays, full exam. Dr. Edgington assesses what’s actually happening, not just what hurts.
- We stop the pain first — That’s always the priority.
- We fix it — Most emergencies are fully treated in the same visit. If follow-up work is needed, we’ll tell you exactly what and when.

Emergency Treatments We Handle In-House
Everything is done here. No referrals for the basics, no sending you somewhere else.
Root canal therapy
Treats infection inside the tooth and may help preserve it.
Tooth extraction
Same-day when needed, with clear aftercare instructions.
Same-day CEREC crown repair
We mill the crown here, in-office. No temporary, no second visit.
Dental bonding repair
Chips and cracks fixed in one appointment.
Abscess treatment
Depending on your needs, treatment may include drainage, root canal therapy, extraction, or antibiotics when clinically indicated.
Lost filling replacement
Done same day with composite.
Crown re-cementation
If it came loose and the tooth is intact, we can often re-cement it right then.
What It Costs
We tell you before we start, not after. Here’s what emergency care in Las Vegas typically runs:
| Treatment | Typical Range |
|---|---|
| $75 – $200 | |
| $150 – $300 | |
| $300 – $600 | |
| $700 – $1,000 | |
| $900 – $1,400 | |
| $1,200 – $1,800 | |
| $150 – $400 |
We accept most PPO dental insurance. For patients without coverage, we offer flexible financing, including 0% interest plans through CareCredit. Call us to verify your benefits before you come in.

When the ER Makes More Sense
We’ll always be straight with you. Go to the emergency room if:
- Swelling is spreading toward your neck or throat
- There’s a jaw fracture or signs of concussion
- Fever is above 103°F alongside dental swelling
- The injury involves your eye or face and needs surgical evaluation
- For everything else — pain, broken teeth, infections, bleeding — we’re faster, better equipped, and significantly less expensive than the ER.
For dental pain, broken teeth, localized infections, or bleeding that does not require emergency medical care, call us promptly so we can help determine the appropriate next step.
Why Patients Come to Us for Emergencies
We’re not an urgent care mill. We’re a full-service private practice that happens to be very good at handling the unexpected.
Same-day slots held specifically for emergencies — not “we’ll try to squeeze you in.”
Dr. Mark Edgington is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry — a credential fewer than 7% of dentists hold.
CEREC in-house crown milling — same-day crowns, full stop.
Digital X-rays and 3D imaging on site — immediate answers.
You know the cost before treatment starts.
This visit becomes part of an ongoing care relationship — we’re not just patching you up and sending you out.
